With extensive training, a diploma in Make-up design for film and television from Vancouver Film school and years of experience working in the film and television, bridal and editorial industries, Ashly's skills can be utilized for a range of projects. With a particular interest for character makeup and design for film and television, she is adept at creating characters and maintaining continuity based on script needs, as well as prosthetic creation and application. Facial hair grooming and application have also been a point of interest Ashly's training and experience and she has had the opportunity to create and apply many hair pieces throughout her career. Ashly has also created characters and costumes for cosplay and conventions. She creates over the head masks for background characters for film and cosplay. She is an avid face and body painter and is very experienced with tattoo covering as well as temporary tattoo creation and application.

While Ashly's focus remains in the film industry, she is also a master beauty make-up artist, having her start in the make-up industry working for MAC cosmetics and doing weddings and editorial. Working closely with renowned make-up and effects artists from around the world and attending master classes and workshops on a regular basis, Ashly stays up to date with the ever evolving world of make-up artistry. She is constantly learning and growing and consistently aims to exceed expectations with her work.

Currently based out of Alberta Canada, Ashly is a member of IATSE 210/212 and working full time in the film and television industry with a resume that boasts titles such as Under The Banner Of Heaven (FX), Black Summer season 2 (Netflix) and The Last Of Us (HBO).
